Re: Won't run in Windows 8
I also doubt that, but for that very reason I asked the question. Thanks for the answers.

Re: Power Failure Stops Railworks
I had no problems installing the framework updates, yet with Microsoft Silverlight and Defender.
The latter is disabled because I use ESS 5 (Eset)

Re: Power Failure Stops Railworks
Just found a previous review with the same error codes, but this time it mentions a cause, hmm… interesting. This problem can be caused by system corruption on your computer. This occurs for various reasons, including but not limited to other applications overwriting of .NET files or corrupted hard ...

Re: Power Failure Stops Railworks
Tried a registry fix and ran a second verify cache without success, did a complete uninstall and reformat of the hard drive, and now in the middle of the install of a fresh copy of Railworks. Reading through my enitial post,I am now thinking that I might have to do a repair on the Microsoft.net fil...

Re: Improved snow
Could it be possible the AP_Lighting_Effects_Enhancement_Pack is responsible? Two different RW installations and one of them totally clean, both scenarios are using the same weather blueprint (weather\rw cloudy snow), but weather conditions are totally different. Bright and sunshiny day (grey track...

Re: Improved snow
It looks that you need to update RW tools to V3.0.48
After that everything will explain itself,

Re: Improved snow
I somehow have the feeling that's not going to be necessary because you're wright about the grey snow on the tracks and I'm also seeing some glowing bushes just like you discribed.

Re: Improved snow
Finaly some nice fresh looking snow, but only with my second attempt. It looks like windows was doubting if the target was a file or a folder.

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 4)
Hi guys, I've been away from Railworks for a while and last night I decided to get back to it. I fired up Steam and then came across the dreaded 'download suspended' issue. I followed the instructions further back in this thread and deleted the .ncf files and the .blob file and got the game working...

Re: DBGHELP.DLL not found
I think DBGHELP.DLL is a Steam file used for Steam error reporting. It's present in my Steam folder and also in my System 32 windows folder.
Not sure but what I would try is reinstalling Steam.
Best regards,
Erik

Re: E&G Poll
Already provided... ... except that the Steam client keeps resetting it randomly when I do a "verify". Sometimes, it changes, sometimes it doesn't ... and sometimes, it won't even let me change it at all ! ! ! I think the answer for those who prefer not to let Steam automatically update their RW in...

Re: E&G Poll
As far as I know, extensions of routes, adding more scenery are not essential for the proper functioning of RW, why would I lose the right to support? Steam also could improve how verify integrity game cache operates with such control of sub folders and not the entire RW folder.(Steam DLC) In other ...
