After downloading a route (pay or freeware) what does the simmer look for when driving it to decide whether it's a keeper or not?
Is it accuracy to the real thing?
the enjoyment?
is it a challenge?
how it looks?

Any News on Mully
Since Mully partnered up with Just Trains to develop his Northern Lights route, has anybody heard any news of any updates?

Re: Quick Q about DMU's?
What would be the class normally seen running the First Scotrail from Glasgow down through Ayreshire?

Quick Q about DMU's?
This question might seem a bit obvious to most people in the UK but what is the usual make up of a 166 DMU?
Is it front/coach/rear unit?
Do they only run as a three car unit?

Re: The Kalm Line
Downloaded the v2.0 last night. A seemingly simple but excellent route.
I guess with it being released in versions that it's WIP? Hope so.

Re: Route building problem.
I find in route building it's better if I have the dislay slider in the front end options set to it's highest (10).

Re: Information on Railworks
I would say I was a bit tentative about upgrading to RW from RS but I'm glad I did. I got mine as a disc copy at Amazon for £13 which I thought was fair. As far as add-ons are concerned, the quality of freeware as compared to payware is now minimal. In some cases, amatuer builders are far out stripp...

Re: New Second Project needed
I was going to ask for a choice of grid but no need, I only have two choices on page 23, Isle of Man Railway or the Anglesey Central Railway starting at Amlwch.
Thanks for that, I would never have thought about trying that one.

New Second Project needed
After the last pc meltdown I lost all but my main Isle of Man route. Now that I'm back up and running again I feel I need a second route to keep the other company. I own an old atlas from before Dr.Beeching swung his axe showing the old lines and from this I hope the community can help pick my new p...

Re: Route Building Too Hard?
belive me working on just one project day after day can become very soul destroying! I agree. Don't be afraid to have two projects on the go at once, at least you have something to fall back to. Couldn't agree more, even if you only use the second route as a tester to try out different techniques f...

Re: Help with Railworks Error
When this happened to me I found it was a problem with the scenario I was using to access the world editor. to delete and force a reinstall of a steam download the easiest way is to find the folder in the railworks\content route folder and delete then do the local files\verify thingy, it should rein...

Re: Just an Idea
I thought about the very Idea that if I wanted a pure transport business simulator I would just have to reinstall Railroad Tycoon or whatever my version is called. I just thought it could be a way of extending the life and appeal of RW aswell as combining the Driving and World Editor mode to run as ...
