Kevin Very nice work with the track textures. Coach 15 looks excellent. For those who don't know, 15 and 16 were pioneer coaches in their use of bogies at a time when most railways were still using 4 and 6 wheelers. I believe the livery is known as royal purple and cream, although I recall a previou...

Buffy, the 153/155 were also built by Leyland and while they aren't as bus-like as the Pacers, they're certainly nothing to get too excited about. Having said that, I do prefer them to the 150s and 158s. (Not slagging off your models you understand, just the real things).

Kev and Tim Excellent work between you. It would be good to have loco and track to the right scale (i.e. proper size) so that we can run them alongside the standard buildings and bridges and not forgeting the sheep. I have plans one day to build Bala Jnc to Blaenau Ffestiniog, but had been p...

Calm down Andy, this is a Leyland bus on bogies that you're talking about.

Tim

Very good indeed. Are both loco and track scaled down here, or is the loco still the original size?

I agree they would make a big difference and I would gladly pop into London this weekend if I had a tape recorder of a suitably high quality and the right software. Those of you who've purchased Protrain will no doubt have noticed the realistic German station sounds on there. Unfortunately, they mad...

Pat's S&C, Caldervale, Woodhead, ECML, Far North, Stranraer, NWT etc. They're all excellent routes and all candidates for challenging activities. I also enjoy freight workings, but that's not to say that I don't enjoy a hectic commuter run or a thrash down the ECML with an HST (or A4). In the absenc...

Sick maybe, but sadly there are so many fans of computer death and destruction out there. To be fair, it is probably the destruction rather than the death that people find attractive - spreading wagons all over the place. At Christmas I installed msts on to a laptop and took it home to show my...

I'm not 100% certain that all of the distant signals on the default S&C are actually working - one or two might be fixed at caution. Certainly on the Far North Line, where I've spent the past few weeks in the sim, the distant signals work fine, showing caution if either the home or starting signals ...

Before adding complexity I would suggest Kuju concentrate on getting the current set-up to work properly and, in the case of the editors, more easily. 1. Fix the front coupling problem properly, so that you can propel stock without being invited to "send report". 2. Fix the AE so that the trains run...

My car WAS an old Volvo 340. Not sure what it is now - steel beam? another car? baked bean tins? I have a company car now, but that has a 25000 mile p/a limit so I'll have to cut down a bit.

Seriously though, if you want me to drive, I'll be happy to.

Yes, you can add me to the list too, rockets and girlfriend permitting (note the order . I've recently bought a new PC which runs msts like a dream and would be happy to bring it along. I live in Slough, but driving long distances isn't a problem (26,000 miles last year!). Martin (the other o...

If anyone is really interested in a 24 hour activity, it could be done on a circular route such as North West trains or Protrain. In fact, you could set up the AI traffic to run around the same circle but in the opposite direction. Of course, you'd run out of fuel pretty quick and I'm sure you'd get...
