It runs so smooth from the result video! You seem to have a very nice PC. Do you have max. settings or what do you turn off to let TS2012 run smoother? I doubt I could do that with my Core 2 Quad Q8200 @2,33 GHz and a HD5770 Vapor-X 1GB...

Fraps uses a lot from the GPU and its memory. So I'd suggest you select "Half Size" and/or the maximum FPS checkbox of 60 FPS. Or you enter your custom frame rate you want to record with.

Happened to me as well but even worse than that! An AI train drove away from a station with doors opened, haha! I thought: 'what's wrong with the train?' Probably some coding mistake in the train AI files or something. I guess that's specific for a certain route and its trains.

I hope so because I'm wondering why the shadows are flickering and flashing in my game. They're set to the middle quality but start flickering as soon as I start driving the train. Is there any fix for that?

Wow, I'd be glad if I had that system. I still have the old 2009 Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @2,33 GHz and my later on bought HD5770 Vapor-X 1GB. I guess your system would run TS2012 flawlessly. If you also count in the next year coming performance update, you're definitely on the safe side.

It's a pretty old one, but I'd recommend an ATI Radeon HD5770 Vapor-X 1GB which I have. It runs pretty well on nearly highest settings with TSX one and SSAA 1x2 and is pretty cheap nowadays (2 years old).
