You need at least one activity installed for the route. I always forget when installing new routes and have to go through the crash screen once to remember. :)

Don't wish to cause trouble ... I am getting exactly the same error in AE and RE for Dorset v2, i.e. "Failed to load track database". I have reinstalled the route from scratch and checked v1 worked before moving to v2 and its patch. I have run both batch files at the right times, and have copied tse...

Just thought I would update as I have managed a little experimentation on the four routes I currently have installed: Auto points (i.e. no G): NWE2 and TM3.2 Manual points (i.e. G): Dorset Coast and Lyme Regis Also discovered that you don't need the reversing point in the basic path. Thought people ...

Thanks for the info, when I get chance to get back into Activity Editor, etc. I will look into this. I don't think I included a reverse point when I first tried this.

Manual Points

After some positive feedback on the ESSO activities for Dorset Coast, thinking on the next activity. I had thought about another shunting activity probably for NWE2. This time I wanted the user to have the choice of the route and order of picking up with wagons, sort of setting a puzzle to be solved...

The plan is with positive feedback to create some more. Of course the "work" thing gets in the way for all of us, so not sure how quickly or what route will be next.

Suggestions taken.

ICI 2 Tankers

Justin,

Apologies see my separate mail to yourself.

I checked that train-sim.com still listed the file just didn't check whether their links worked.

If there is enough interest I will prepare a version of the shunting activity without the ICI 2 TTA's. They are "scenery" only anyway.

The blue/grey and IC Swallow bring back fond memories of the Cross Country line between Birmingham and York. I spent four years trundling up and down this route in HSTs whilst at University in York.

It is great to see good models of something I remember in reality. :D

Banner Adverts

I must admit I haven't seen any of these adverts, the reason being, in part I don't use IE. I use Mozilla Firefox with the Adblock extension. Adblock is programmed by you, it allows you to select what you want to block, and it will take wildcards, so, for example, you can block ad.doubleclick or bur...
