Unicode Editor with Search and Replace
I'm looking for a Unicode editor that will do a search and replace, i.e. I want to point it at a folder, have it search every file in that folder and its sub-folders for a specified string and then replace it whenever it finds it. Does anyone know of an editor that will do this? I'm planning to chan...

With that many routes you might want to divide them into "sets". Each set needs a Route folder and a Trains folder. These are then swapped in and out (by dragging and dropping) of the Train Simulator folder. Grouping by country works the best since then you need only one copy of each piece of rollin...

Yes. But it didn't put me off. I didn't add the extra view. It was more of a challenge without it!! I think what might have put some people off could have been the postings on the forums about the problems. Some people will stay away if there's the hint of a problem. Others will jump in and try to c...

I agree, a lot of it is personal preference. I personally don't like fiddling with .eng and .wag files so avoid I those. I don't mind downloading a bit of extra stock or swapping for something similar using Activity Analysis. I don't really go for passenger activities where the only challenge appear...

There's a much easier method. Remove (move or delete) the old UK1 route folder. Then run Route-Riter activity checker, click on "Unused", left click on the top unused consist, hold down Shift and left click on the bottom unused consist, right click and choose "Move selected consists". They all get m...

I don't think they are related. I have used Route-Riter, Activity Analysis, Route Control and ConBulider to get rid of as many (all?) of the errors, syntax and otherwise, as possible. I still get problems which seem to be related to the add-ons. For example, I had real problems trying to run Judith'...
