You cant compare these two routes as they give us two differant time spans.They are both excellent routes and we must thank both creators for giving there time to give them to us.

Any sounds would be very welcome, as would up-dated sounds for the westerns.There is plenty of chances of recording these locos as they are still with us,and are used on a regular basis.All three did sound differant thou.

FALCON infact was fitted with 2 maybach engines as in the 52,s but the transmission maybe electric.We should keep this in mind if one is produced as she sounded like a western.

Very nice,and talking of cabviews what happened to that excellent class 45 one that someone was doing.Waiting for the day we no longer have to put up with the default cabviews.

All these good memories could come back as we now have mst and some excellent route and engine builders on here and await a full hydrualic fleet someday,including FALCON.

i believe western firebrand lost her orringinal nameplates in the late 60,s and was refitted with a cheaper version hence no beading.i will always remember her laying on the front of the dump at swindon with weeds growing out of her roof,not a preety site.Anyway it does give give the modellers somet...

would be nice to have these double heading along the sea wall at dawlish.just to mention that D870 ZULU had the air vents on the roof.D818 GLORY would be a nice start as she was about until 1985 but was cut up under protest due to the closure of swindo works.
