Re: The Class 55 Update - A Community Project

Call me old fashioned but I like to drive from inside the cab and move the cab view back so I can see all the controls and use the mouse to move them. Unfortunately, when I do this the mouse won't operate them (this happens on some other cabs too). Is there any way to change this, or is it something...

Re: Engine Simulation File

David, Yes, engines can share the same simulation file. There are numerous parameters that can affect performance but if two locos are using the same simulation file then performance should be similar, if not the same for both. If you're finding that your top speed is limited it's worthwhile looking...

Re: Engine Simulation File

Hello David, Not quite sure which loco you are referring to (all my "unmentionable" locos have simulation files!). If a particular engine doesn't seem to have one (as is the case with a lot of the Class 47's) search for the <EngineSimulationContainer> section of the engine bin file and this will sho...

No, because they are stupid and think they know best, a bit like cyclists who jump red traffic lights.

Re: HS2: High-speed rail link 'to be approved'

The Victorians would just have got on and built it! Those in the Shires who it will affect are using the economic argument to camouflage their NIMBYism. Would I do the same in their position-probably :fist:

Re: RSC Beta

Hopefully RSC have learnt a lesson here:be careful who you enter into an NDA with! To expect all 300 ordinary members of the public to abide by one is, at best optimistic and at worst, as pointed out by others, naive. Any breach of an NDA can be pursued in the Courts, but I would much rather RSC spe...

Re: How to change driver pos. in Voyager?

Hello, The cab_cam file in the CabView folder is the one you want. The first set of three lines determine the driving position. Try reducing the value at the end of the third of the three lines (the "z" value) to a lower figure. This will move the position back. It's a bit trial and error but you sh...
