Re: AI Time table help!
Apart from any potential as 50-inch dynamic wall decoration of our favourite subject, the cute thing about a train spotter scenario is that, it is a time tabled scenario minus the hazzle of having to drive one or more of the locos. Call it Scenario Inspection Mode - you cruise around in bird perspec...

Re: AI Time table help!
You cannot do this on Bris Exe as there is only one portal per two tracks, so one cannot use it for both spawning and exit as this throws the dispatcher into convulsions. I would exspect a payware route to feature multitrack portals, but not having the Bristol-Exeter, I do not know if they are used...

Re: AI Time table help!
Why not use portals? Add trains and their time table one at a time. Make sure the previous train has left the block of entry before the entry time of it succesor. Add trains to the portal of entry. Look in the timetable editor to ensure their route does not conflict with other trains. File ID 25345 ...

Re: Mk1 coaches data at the end of the carriage
I would wish for sleepers, fx for the highly irregular night service Paddington-Oxford-Carlisle-Glasgow.

Re: Am I alone in thinking the AI needs much more "I"?
It's now a while back in RW1 - and for various reasons some time since I've driven behind a "crawling" train, but back when, I one decided on a little experiment: Sneaking up behind the crawler - SPADing a signal - I then lowered speed to 2-3 MPH until contact and then simply pushed the crawler past...

Presuming drivers are up to date.
Could it be some other graphical setting too high for your system?

Then, if that doesn't do it...
Pls. check the scenary details slider under options -> graphical detail. Max is 10, but some say 8 will be enough in most cases.

Re: Career scenarios
Keep in mind the claimed racing game past of some of the RSC people. The current career system are (mostly) unrealistic adrenaline rushes with little or no railway realism, IMHO. Driving like an idiot? Not really, more like a machine. You have to drive like a formula driver, apply max acceleration A...

Re: Can someone explain?
When you need to operate the wipers, is when the wipers blocks the view of a signal around a right bend. Oh, sure you can run back and forth or stick your head out of the window (shift+2), but starting the wipers give a glipse-wise view ahead. Indispensable!

Wonderful reference, thanks for digging it out.
More detail from the same source:

Observe in this manual also the engine nothces table. That would be really nice

Re: Railworks 2 Update but HST brakes not fixed???
Rubber-banding is a strange term for it, but for lack of a better... It happens mostly when overtaking another train. Instead of sliding smoothly past each other, it looks as if the other train is moving in coarser steps, back and forth relative to the train of the viewer. How to fix it is another m...
