I'd like to add some comments to this thread... These are mostly negative, but that is because there are too many positive to list! In some places the track is kinked very badly. Most unrealistic, even on the worst main lines in the UK! The placement of speed boards needs looking at. Warning boards ...

Is UTC good? Yep.

It doesn't come with a great many routes, and no real world ones. But there are lots to download.

The routes that come with the program are quite short, but there are some VERY long and impressive routes avalable. Downloads are much smaller than MSTS as well :)

Oh and you cant strike with freightliner there isnt a union with them. all because it was part of a management buyout from RFD
I'm sure all the union members at Freightliner will be happy to hear that.

Who owns a company is irrelevent, everybody has the right to be in a union of they choose.

As far as I know the NVQ system hasn't been finalised yet. They are hoping to make a standard qualification for all drivers (like BR had). A company will train you to their saftey case and hold all your documentation. If you change companies, you still have to take their tests based on their saftey ...

Where did you hear that? I thought it was 21 nationwide?
It is. But you can drive under supervision earlier.
