Train crews in the UK have to know all the speed limits etc before they drive a route without a conductor driver (one who does know the route.) Most speed restrictions have signs displayed, but tey usually get removed during engineering works, and not replaced. In some places there are warning signs...

I bought American Classics and European Loco based on your reviews, and I am extreamly pleased with both!

Wasn't overly impressed with Engine Shed as a whole, but there are some gems on that CD!

Your not alone Ian. When I asked a BT engineer about ADSL at my local exchange and he laughed. A friendly laugh though :)

And this is in the SouthEast! It seems a regular thing, if there is no direct competition BT don't really care IMHO
