Re: 'Jellycab' Issue

I first experienced this on NY Modern, but it's been ages since I've done a run on that route so I can't remember the circumstances. More recently it happened to me on the Bristol-Exeter, I believe in the 156, and the specifics were different than yours. In my case the jelly-cab and loss of all cont...

Re: Railworks 3 [and 4 if it ever comes] PC spec required

See my sig for system stats. Note that the processor is overclocked to 4.7 with stepping and hyperthreading active. The system is totally stable. I built this rig last summer to increase performance in Flight Simulator X and also in anticipation of RW3. It handles anything FSX throws at it without b...

Re: Class 37 DLC Pack TS 2012 rain upgrade

Second.. You will need to enter the wiperpairs code into each blueprint for the class 37s.. If you don't know how to edit blueprints then I do not suggest you follow the rest of this tutorial. I think there is a tutorial around here somewhere explaining how to do this. I will not. This is the only ...

Re: Clock issues....

Yes - I had this problem this evening, and I resolved it again by deleting all blueprint.pak files from my RW installation. As I posted above in this thread... Ash Hi - apologies I had thought I'd tried this as I always clear the cache. But gave it another go as a limited test under controlled cond...

Re: What would you want in the next version of RW?

I sincerely hope this doesn't offend anyone, but I'll keep it simple: IMHO the RSC crew should be concentrating on nothing other than cleaning up the core code. The SBHH debacle is indefensible and has gone on far too long. Any additional DLC or new features at this point are nothing more than lipst...

Re: Class 86/87 Sound Pack released - Armstrong Powerhouse

I believe the reductions in max speed came with the WCML update on Dec. 1. It's the first thing I noticed because the player train in one of my scenarios was missing timed marks along the route. Maximum speed was over 100 before the update, and now it's around 93. So, I don't believe this is the res...

Re: WCML North 2012 Update

When in Task manager you can click the 'Processes' tab, you can see how much mem is used by each proces. While running the 'Hand over' scenario the "RailWorksProc2.exe *32' is using 2.029.608K Mem on my system. Total system mem used at that moment is : ~3.80 GB My system glasses :D I7 920@4GHz nVid...

Re: Clock issues....

Search your Assets folder for files named blueprint.pak and delete any you come across - that usually fixes this problem. Hmmm... lots of theories and ideas. But has anyone actually tried the advice given at the top of this thread? If so, and it hasn't worked, fair enough, we can eliminate it as a ...

Re: Clock issues....

I think I'm seeing this too - brings back memories of MSTS. Let's see if it's still there after the next patch. The discrepancy between the F3 clock and the timing of AI movements is seriously messed up. For example, I'm doing a 2-hour long Standard scenario in which the PT stops on a loop at Carst...
