Looking good Paul! I will have to get around to downloading these...

I've been away for a while in Scotland - got some photos of the Strathspey line which I will post as soon as I can scan them in!

Cheers

Pretty early - but not as early as weekdays. There is normally a first and last train poster up in the stations - check that!

I had the British Rail pack - it was always good to get the HST as I remember!

I'm sure I've still got them at my parents house somewhere - must dig them out some time!

Well, I got around to installing MSTS on the new PC at last... as I was doing so, I realised it was only the second time I'd ever installed it! That means I'd never had to do a re-install on the old PC. I must have been very careful, or very lucky, or both!! Long may my good fortune continue.. PC ru...

Well, I built my new PC at the weekend - with lots of help from a friend who's done this sort of thing before - all seems fine so far! I've not tried out MSTS yet - but will be doing this, along with 3D Canvas and Train Store etc etc very soon! I'm hoping for a much better Train Sim experience now. ...

RELEASED: Red Baron 3D - Hells Angels Super Patch.

This is a must have for any RB3D fans - it's just about the most realistic patch available for RB3D. Incredible atmosphere produced by the variety and realism.

In terms of other NER liveries or the LNER livery? I could do it in LNER livery - shouldn't take too long as I have designed the photoshop files to be easily re-coloured (all shading effects are done with layer blending on top of a solid colour). It might take a little while though! To do later LNER...

Here are some screenshots in the sim (using Skipton Route, just out of Carlisle).

I clearly still have to set the smoke stack height properly!

I spent some time on the eng file - and I'm happy with the results. I was using the steam eng file calculator which give...

I've no idea - but there's always a Diesel at the City end of the platforms when there's a steamer - might just bring in the stock though.

Tangmere on the VSOE at Victoria

So there I am sitting on a EMU on platform 8 in Victoria Stn when I hear a diesel start up and then the 'peeeep peeeep' of a large steam engine from the international side of the station. I'm thinking, cool - the VSOE - what's on today? Anyway as my train leaves we are leaving at exactly the time th...
