we have a 72xx under restoration at work
its early days but the frames are almost done
changing the oxford route shouldnt be that hard

ahhh defiant we have that at work you know its well looked after externaly its great internaly on the other hand.....its full of rust and somones stolen the firebars :o iv got to make up some wood ones because we have the loco open to the public and they keep asking if the fire goes on the ash pan :...

buckeyes are used on stock to stock conections and three link chain couplings are used on locomotive to train connections here in the UK its been like this since the Mk1 type passeger stock was introduced and that was in the days of steam and British Railways

we at the buckinghamsire railway center were suposed to get juno we were even told we were getting it as it was one of the first engines we had but for some unknow reason the owners gave it to the IOWR
