Ah, I see, this must be why the doors along the side do not have a flat edge sticking out then.

Hiya, when looking at RSC's diesel models, there are often doors that protrude along the side of the engine. When it is mapped on a texture it smoothly fits in like it's not even there, is there any way to know how this is done?

Examples include the EMD SD70's the GP9, and the Dash-9.

What are the typical LOD distances for the main trucks(bogeys), body, and wheels?

Whichever you feel you use the most I guess, maybe a mod can change the options.

I go by, if you make freeware only, there's nothing to worry about unless you have somehow managed to profit from it.
