Can you recomend a different loco to replace the rather basic Garrett in the CTN "fast stock" activity? team-ALCO have a rather sensational looking AD60 class Garratt in the works at the moment - it will probably be released at Hurstville Exhibition in October this year. Now that info IS in the readme! Not in mine! The only readme file that the install gave me was a Word file "READ_ME.doc" dated 6/3/06 and it is definitely not in there. Hi David Most likely a misunderstanding. You quoted me "the readme contains suggested consists for both steam and diseasel eras" f...

I cannot find this in the readme. You're right, the readme was probably a little too general. Typically, a diesel hauled Overland was something like this: Loco-Loco-BJ-Sleeper-Sleeper-AJ-buffet/club car-BJ-*-sleeper-sleeper-sleeper-CO. For peak holiday travel, add extra sleepers front and rear, add...

The Goodwin-Alcos, the NSW 44s and SAR 930 class, were actually Alco "World" series powered by the Alco 12 cylinder 251 motor. This unit also was constructed for Brazil ,Iran, Argentina, amongst others. They are actually closer to the US FA in shape , except they rode on Co-Co (not A1A-A1A) bogies r...

The team-ALCO website is up and down like a brides nightie. The link is ok. Just keep checking back to it and you'll get in. What you will find is two payware loco/stock packs. The Overland ran overnight between Melbourne and Adelaide each way (2 sets); locos were changed at the Vic-SA border at Serviceton.
