How did you manage to get the external view camera to stay still?

Re: Dorset Coast v5 Problem
Do you use Trainstore? If you try loading MSTS without Trainstore (if you have a large installation) then sometimes you get error messages warning you of missing files. I'm not sure if you're familiar with what TrainStore does, but basically it just loads the route and activity you have selected, wi...

Re: Dorset Coast without Bin?
Maybe if you're suffering from low frame rates in Dorset Coast, you might have to turn your settings down. When you load Dorset Coast, click on the "Map" icon which will show you the recommended settings for the route. I've followed those settings and my copy (version 5) doesn't crash that often as ...

Re: Help Required
I think a few early morning/late evening services start/terminate at Basingstoke anyway so when Dorset Coast v6 comes out it would be possible to, say, make an activity that starts in Basingstoke carriage sidings and ends up in Exeter. And I read somewhere that in the 1970s a 33 would haul one or tw...

Very impressive models but why aren't they going to be MSTSBin-compatible?

Re: Dorset Coast without Bin?
A word of warning: a few routes don't like the most recent version of MSTSbin which is 1.8. I downloaded it and discovered that the East Lancashire Railway route would crash after a few minutes of play, or in some activities, almost immediately. Download 1.7 as it's the most stable.

Re: point of interest
I didn't attend it either - but then I was only 10 years old and knew nothing of MSTS. I received my copy for Christmas 2004 but never took much interest until this year.

Another Thames-Mersey problem!
On activity 5 of Thames-Mersey (Crewe-Liverpool, 83 + 10mk1s) when approaching Crewe the brakes are on. However, when I release the brakes fully and increase the throttle, nothing happens; it doesn't even register on the ammeter. I've checked that the reverser is set forwards, the brakes are fully r...

Thames-Mersey track sound
I got Thames-Mersey 4.3. through the post today - great route but is there a way of replacing the default track noise that one hears while in-cab? It's because the default track sound doesn't sound particularly lifelike.

Re: MSTS Keeps crashing
Have you tried installing the latest version of DirectX? That usually solves any graphics-related problems.

Using "automatic replacement" on Activity Analyser
I've downloaded the SWT Slammer activity pack for Dorset Coast, then decided to replace some of the stock the activity required with those on my hard disk. However, I've noticed you can only replace stock only for each activity. I've noticed the "Automatic Replace" function but does that replace sto...
