Hate to bump an old post, but recently I had this problem with the Escape key not working. I am unsure if this is now old news concerning this problem, but opening 'Drive Mode.bin' and changing "KEY_Pause" to "KEY_Escape" will at least revert it back to how it was (and personally I never used the Pa...

I had this problem with some of the RBC3 Routes - those that have the 0 byte files problems. Did you download and install any of these routes before the fixed versions were posted?
