Thanks Marcus, I am just doing a little bit every day (i.e. one tutorial) so that it doesn't drive me around the bend!! Then I will see about trying my hand at building some stuff for MSTS.

I have writtern a letter to the man proposing the idea, and I have offered my voluntary services as well as donations if this project goes ahead, I'll let you know what comes of it. The build will be done by the GWS, and would start in 2003, but no-doubt it will have extensive coverage in the railwa...

The locos that will have bits taken from them for the 47XX are to be (according to the article) ones that already have lot's of examples either restored and running, or waiting for restoration, so nothing will be lost, there are more projects proposed such as building a Hawksworth County 4-6-0 along...

I mainly make activities for myself, I have found that placing a train on the same route as you, but 10 minutes in front is a good exercise, asyou can soon catch up with it and get double and single yellows, especially if it's a stopping service.

What do people here think of the suggestion by Richard Croucher of GWS to build a new 47XX. The article appeared in Steam Railway SR274. So is it a ood or bad idea?
