Re: What UK Routes ?
My vote would be for the line between Carmarthen and Aberystwyth (closed to passengers in 1965). I seem to remember it was a picturesque line winding along hillsides and river valleys so probably requiring a fair amount of work.

Re: Western Mainlines 1A16 Penzance to Paddington.
I've had a response from JT who say that the AI collision problems are still being looked into and that they only occur for some people so are difficult to replicate. They say that they're working on another update to be released soon but don't know if it will solve the problems until it is released...

Re: Western Mainlines 1A16 Penzance to Paddington.
I reported this (or very similar problem) to Just Trains on 1st June 2016: Re: (DTG) Class 67 - Cardiff Rugby Special scenario supplied with Western Mainlines After several attempts I've found that there is a consistant AI collision error approaching Newport at 12:16:06 (give or take 5 seconds). The...

Re: Poll: Do you have an SSD for TS?
I bought a new PC 2 years ago with a 240GB SSD installed specifically to improve the load times and performance of TS. There was a definite improvement in both these areas and has worked well since. However, having been a TS user since it was released, I've acquired a fair amount of TS software over...

Re: TS 2016 Manual
There's a link to the TS 2016 Player Manual .
Right-click Train Simulator on the Steam Library page and there's an option to 'View Player Manual'. Click this and it takes you to a web page containing the manual.

Re: Trains uncoupling while moving
I had this too with the Class to in the Keep On Moving scenario. I lost all but one of the tanks a few miles after Beattock Summit but didn't realise until near Carstairs. So I reversed slowly back to collect them. However, as I approached the lost tanks at less than 1mph, they rushed forward on the...

Re: Virtual British Rail
This certainly sounds like a good idea and gives a purpose to playing scenarios.
Hope this gets going.

Re: TS 2013 Update 23rd July
Well this is strange. I logged into TS 2013 this afternoon and received a 11Gb+ download (it took nearly 4 hours!). When it had finished I exited TS2013 and installed the Just Trains Bishop Auckland to Darlington and Mid Hants routes that I had just purchased. When I logged into TS 2013 again all my...

Re: Best RailWorks Route
For me it has to be WCML(North) as it has so many different aspects - large terminus with complex trackwork, steep gradients, lengths of track with high speed limits, suburban routes for stopping trains and great freeware scenarios. That doesn't mean to say that other routes are in any way inferior....

Re: Annoying DOG
The graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT and unticking the box in the Control Panel's 3D settings did the trick.
Thanks for your help with this.

Annoying DOG [RESOLVED]
Despite being a member of UKTS for the last 3 years, this is my first post - on any forum anywhere :-? - so please point me towards another topic if it's been answered already. Since the TS2012 on Sept. 29th, I've had an annoying DOG (Digital Onscreen Graphic) 'PHYSX + CPU' which appears in the top ...
