Re: Progress Reports on Dublin to Cork

Just tried that and get the something bad happened..... RW Tools says I am missing a corrugated shed and a texture but that is all. Tried again with the RS version - no joy. Installed afresh in a third version - same exception to the value in the params of 'startindex' and the crash message says bad...

Re: Progress Reports on Dublin to Cork

I have downloaded this 3 times and each time when I install it reports an unhandled exception in the StartIndex. I try to continue but then when running the route the sim crashes when selecting the route with a badly formed XML error. Is it possible to re check the upload as the route runs fine befo...

Re: Tennessee Pass

A really fantastic route.

I do have crashing issues from place to place but determined to drive it all even though taken a couple of scenarios and a separate installation of RW to do it.

Hope you carry on with it.

regards and thanks

Re: Progress Reports on Dublin to Cork

Great news re a new version of your route.

Also very much enjoyed your Route Challenge route as well and is staying on the PC for those quiet drives in the country moods.

Re: East Midlands

I am also watching this with interest having had a go at the original. Mind you I had shock when ploughing through lifted rails at some railworkings immediately after a bend!!

(Have they laid the track through the tunnel yet!!!_

Re: UK Routes In Development (That Are Likely To Be Released)

The one that has caught my interest (having just driven EazyPeazy's superb BVE version) is the northern ECML from Newcastle down to Berwick. I know there's a "Northern Lights" in production but presumably this is Edinburgh north and Mike is doing his branch line in the area. However it would be nic...

The file does not say if this is for New York classic or for the modern version.

Re: TEA Bogie Tanks

Have had issues with the scenarios. Free roam (rear tank on each wrong way round but not my issue) - when assembling consist and passing a signal in siding (SPAD but with permission) to get clear of siding to shunt back into next one - game freezes and needs task manager to shut. Same thing happens ...

Re: The future of freeware

I am full of admiration for what has benn produced both freeware and payware and am shocked at what I have spent. It is new routes where we have been lacking although even here with the route challenge, W&B, Mully's Northern Lights, Heartbeat Moor etc. I have had plenty to get me teeth into. JT's Ex...

Re: New GARL video

As Pacer pilot just said. Another example is London Euston where you will get a letter from A to E representing each line into & out of the station. However there you could get line A at one signal & then nest signal might say line B to indicate you are going across one. Shane I am glad you know wh...

Re: Class 50 released!

Having a go with the Class 50 on a cloned/amended scenario over the South Devon Banks 'Plymouth to Exeter',

What enormous fun. The class 50 seems to have a slow tickover but generates pretty good power. Lovely model and another distinct Deusel for RW.

Many thanks for this add on.

Re: Port Road route

Just tried the Irishman scenario and got to a point where a slow Oil Train just sat on the track ahead with no sign of movement so had to end the scenario.

Re: Port Road route

I had v2 working with no issues but v3 would not load at all. No missing items or assets.

I have had to install it on a separate install with a couple of other challenge routes (one of my 7 RW instances). I have no idea why some routes just do this.
