Re: Class 390 - any scenarios?

Yes, I found that afterwards. It's not mentioned as part of the 390 purchase (it seems to have been added belatedly in an update). It's a simple test-run type of scenario, but is great fun just to get the feel for the 390 tilt.

Glad I bought it!

Fantastic - and the scenarios installed and run a treat!

Re: GEML & East Anglia

This looks incredible!!! I was hoping somebody might embark upon East Anglia routes. I'm astonished at the areas I recognise (like the Stowmarket junction, the Lowestoft and Colchester details) - absolutely spot on! Manningtree looks to be unbelievably accurate! Incredible work! I can't wait to see ...

Oh, that's great to hear. Many thanks for replying. I've just this second downloaded both and am now off to throw some cash at Steam! :D

Class 390 - any scenarios?

I've for some time looked at the Class 390 on Steam and I still haven't bought it because there is no mention of any scenarios - not even a 'free roam'. Can anyone confirm whether there are any scenarios with this model? If not, how easy is it for a complete numptie to use one of the downloadable sc...

Re: Class 24 Released!

This looks amazing! Stunning work! Older diesels are my first love. I only buy payware if scenarios are bundled (even just a couple) so I haven't purchased. If a couple of scenarios ARE ever added so complete beginners can get some mileage out of it too, (not just the free-roam) then I absolutely wi...

Re: Is RW_Tools an answer?

I had, on the whole, some thoroughly horrible experiences with custom content in MSTS and RS. Sometimes, I could get the content to work, but mostly I found I was missing content, or the scenario would 'fail to load' without offering any details why. Just occasionally I would drive a train with, er,...

Re: Is RW_Tools an answer?

Thank you both enormously! I think you have made my game 300% bigger in potential! This is fantastic news! it was so sad about the Class 390 with no scenarios, but that might not now matter, and it looks like I can use that beautiful Class 25 for sure! Off to download now - and thank you so much for...

Is RW_Tools an answer?

If I've seen pay content without scenarios I haven't even considered paying out. Oovee's TEA wagons pack at a mere £4.99 still comes with four scenarios (bought), the excellent Class 20 comes with a couple of scenarios at, I think, £10.99 (bought) - and then the Class 390 at a steeper £11.99 with co...

Re: Is anyone going to make this?

Ah! None of this I knew! Thank you Rob. If RWTools offers the ability to use one train in place of another, that suddenly opens up a world of custom content I've not been able to sample because it comes with no scenarios. This of course opens up all sorts of newbie questions that I'd best take to th...

Re: Is anyone going to make this?

It's a beauty! Probably something I'll have to love at a distance unless someone has knocked together a scenario that uses it, but it is a gorgeous piece of work! And if the good and talented folks who made it happen to read here at any time, I would pay for that outright if it came with a couple of...

Re: Is anyone going to make this?

Maybe some obscure early diesels like the 28 or 15. How about the early diesels painted in the BR two- tone green wearing the "Ferret & Dartboard" logo? Like this: http://durhamtrainsofstanley.co.uk/my_store/images/32-426DS.jpg You mean like this? [album 122109 green25.jpg] WOW!!!! That's incredibl...

Re: The future of freeware

Hi Sue, I did let users know that the products would be pretty much identical. It was discussed at length on these forums too. regards Derek I admit I never noticed (sorry) - I just read up at the main site, together with information on how to get this stuff working in RW. I took a gamble on the of...

Re: The future of freeware

Well the IOW is up and above that number... regards Derek I confess I purchased it again, so I wonder how many of these are people just buying it over again? I spent £100s on RS, but soon realised that RS.com were going to make me buy them all over again with NO discount. I tried to get my head aro...

Re: The future of freeware

As a basic player who wants to shove a disc in a drive and hit the 'drive a scenario' button, payware is really my only option unless I strike lucky. I HAVE struck lucky with freeware but, for the most part, I've had some horrible experiences with trying to install freeware in both MSTS and RS. That...
