Raildriver and Rail Simulator Not working
Hi, I'm trying to get RailDriver to work in RS but not much joy on it. XP. nvidia latest driver. Intel DUO 8500 3.16 4gb Corsair ram. I have the latest RDriver driver. During the install of RS I get the error "Cannot write to \Plugins\RailDriver.dll." This I think because the config file is not poin...

Rosslare - Dublin route as a Route.
I’m not at all sure where to post this, so if someone wants to move it that’s OK. I have a drivers eye view DVD of this complete Rosslare - Dublin route, spectactular is the word to describe it. I did contact 3 commercial route makers with not much interest shown, I suppose they are more interested ...

Re: What Irish route would you most like see in MSTS 2?
Rosslare - Dublin, I got a Drivers eye view Dvd of the whole route, spectular or what. I contacted 3 commercial add-on companies in the UK with not much interest shown. In fact, I was looking for a suitable section of this forum to suggest it when I came across this section. I’ll maybe post it in th...

Re: Better The Devil You Know
The only part of MSTS that RS is much better is the stuttering, there is none that I have seen in it. RS is complex and complicated in almost every aspect of it. It seems to me that if there is a difficult way to do something then they will do that, rather than the simple way, the track monitor is a...

Re: JUST TO SAY THANK YOU . .
I want to be included also. Not only for those mentioned above but the peeps who put together the CDs. I've thought about this a lot, I would pay an extra pound or two on the CDs to give it to the person who wrote the activity - route or whatever it is. After all, they aren't done in a few minutes, ...

Highland Line
I downloaded all parts of the route, including the stock files. I installed them according to the readme. There are 17 stock files and no errors when installing them. I get error popups when trying to run the route. I edited out the errors. Doug, I was not criticising in any way, I just wanted to sh...

Re: South Devon - Full download
I'm not getting any locomotives showing in Train Store, nor any consists. I downloaded the full version and also the UKTS_9487_gwmlversion2 and put the files in the routes folder. Route REiter gave this, Missing Consist Class 43 FGW P(HST).con This affects the activity Beginners service.act and the ...

Re: South Devon - Full download
John, I downloaded 2 of the platform kits some months ago from the UKTrain site for the Bristol Cardiff route, while I was doing that I downloaded the other 2 in the event I might need them at a future date. Michael, I know you mentioned the platform kits in the readme, but what you said made me thi...

Re: South Devon - Full download
John,
I have just done a search of my routes and found 4 magnetic platform kits.
I don't know if they are in the UK Train Sim site somewhere, if not, I will upload them to somewhere if you wish.
I cannot locate the V32 version of Newroads anywhere.

the highland Line LMS stock pack
I've just downloaded two routes, The Highland Line and Glasgow Carlisle. One of them (I think its the Highland Line) requires Pat Daltons LMS Stock Pack I've searched the UKTrainsim site, I found files by Pat Dalton but none go by that name, except a PDF and there is nothing in it to indicate the ex...

Re: A few add-ons wont work.
Yep Lee, I had read that “warning” in my Dorset Coast but it was not the problem. After I got Toddington working I began the installation of all my other Routes. After about every 3 route installations, I had to re-install XTracks 3.20 or they wouldn’t run. It’s no great problem that - provided it w...

Re: A few add-ons wont work.
Well now lads, I restored my x32 XP partition and also my MSTS Partition. I copy all my CDs onto another partition for “safe Keeping” in the event something goes wrong with them. I installed Toddington by going into each folder in the correct order bypassing the main setup.exe global first, when it ...
