Well, the work on Newcastle Central is well underway, more "then & now" shots below. Work has started on relaying and electrifying track at Newcastle Central. As people may appreciate, this, along with York is one of the biggest jobs that will be undertaken on the project.

Correct Gav, both Tyne Yard actually. Quite a bit different nowadays.
