Re: DEM Problem

Was some &*$%*&£$er at RSC having a giggle when they decided to disable the 'T' key? Pretty sure they weren't having a giggle, disabling the T key was something that was requested by route builders for over 3 years, it was far too easy to reset the DEM on a tile by accidentally pressing the key. Bl...

Re: The Jacobite

Right at the top of this route building forum is a thread dedicated to Super-Elevation. http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=304&t=121724 Although all of these threads of yours do confuse me. You had another thread about a project reopened yesterday which claimed updates were coming. You the...

Re: Duplicate Dialog ID

Although that may result in certain elements of the route not being visible. Certainly have shadows turned off completely, then also knock things like shaders and terrain textures down, see how it runs and then gradually increase if possible.

Really?

Apart from the fact it is called "London Underground Simulator", is in the "Train Simulators" section as opposed to "Add-ons" and has no mention whatsoever of being for or related to TS2012?

Re: RailSimulator Core

I am a bit puzzled about your reference to ticking RailSimulatorCore. I have checked the latest update and in the Object Set Filter only RailSimulator and RailSimulatorUS are showing under the Kuju developer folder. As far as I know this has always been the case. It has always been the case. RailSi...

Re: ICE 3

You need Windows 7 Just to run Koln - Dusseldorf - what size of computer would you need for all this other stuff? Theoretically, no more than what is needed to run that Dusseldorf route. It's not the length or size of the route that will determine how well it runs, it's how the route is conceived a...

Because if a Chunnel route was done, then maybe it would have a Eurostar built for it?

Re: ICE 3

That doesn't rule one out for the future though... If they have a new route it may not be ready for a few months (even next year) and so by not mentioning it they don't get bombarded with when will the route be out etc. A Twitter post today suggests it may well be happening.......... Q The ICE 3 is...

Re: Variations of Class 66

1) RSDL class 66 from JustTrains 2) RS class 66 (originally for rail simulator) 3) Steam class 66 They are all the same model from the same provider, RSDL, which is what RSC were. I believe that the Steam version now has some extra wagon variations though, so for ease of use, that would be your bes...

Re: New Route and Loco pack coming soon from JT...

Possibly, yes. Although the video posted by skoda does seem to confirm it better than I could.

Anyway, the whole point I was trying to make was that there are Swiss locomotives available, or at least locomotives that visit Switzerland. (I think :D )

I wasn't sure, but this seems to suggest it does. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 541&nseq=9

Also, it says that it is working a service between Austria and Switzerland, which is what this route represents?

Re: New Route and Loco pack coming soon from JT...

Not quite sure why we have a Swiss part when there are No Swiss Locos to Work the services. Chicken and egg. The general trend is that people may be more liable to create something if they have somewhere to run it. Although there are Swiss locomotives available, granted I don't know much about them...

So I wonder, do the professional route builders even use this system ? If so, what am I missing, I can't work like this.
All payware routes are created using the exact same tools as everyone else.
