Re: Is RailSim too complex?
I have made quite a few models with 3DCanvas, but I find importing very difficult. The other issue is it seems like RSDL have no one who knows about 3DCanvas, I understand that they use 3DS Max but it would be useful to have someone who knows about 3D Canvas to provide support to probably the most u...

That'll be nice on the Isle of Wight! I had that locomotive for haulage when I visited a while back.

Re: Help with my pink bridge!
With alpha how do you choose then set either transparency or specular? Is it done when the textures are applied to the model in the 3D CAD program? This what I am trying to avoid, http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/2640/shineytw1.jpg http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/3978/shiney2gc7.jpg RSAdam Reck...

Help with my pink bridge!
http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/2876/pinkqi9.jpg Ok, I imported the model into krs and textures showed up fine except they were shiny, so I thought I'd use an alpha to make them matt. I created a plain white alpha with with TGATools as I converted the texures to a .ace. clearly this is incorrect...

hmm yorkshire puds. I guess I am looking in the 50's mainly because the passenger service to Wearhead ended in 1953. I've spent a small fortune gathering info and books. I just hope I do it justice. regards Derek Do it justice!! Judging by your previous work I'm sure it'll be better than the origin...

Re: Yahoo email problem
Even in a .rar or .zip it still may not like it, if that is the case encrypt it with a password, that keeps the scanners out so they won't block it. I had this issue with a friend, we both designing a website and had been trying to send .js (Javascript) files. But it still didn't like it in a .rar w...

Re: Importing Locomotives, I'm having problems!
That steam locomotive looks great!
With a little(big
) help from Kevin he has fixed the problem!
Instead of the bogie wheel offset being "3/-3" it was incorrectly "3/3" so two different axles were trying to occupie the same space!
