Re: trainzclassics.co.uk - 1st June update.
which is why the whole baseboard system needs to be done away with, it looks bad when you can see where the earth ends and is detrimental to the FPS. notice neither MSTS or RS use the system and can support far higher draw distances and on average you can get better FPS as well.

Re: trainzclassics.co.uk - 1st June update.
ive used it, yes the draw distance is impressive but it is impractical to use as it makes TRS even more laggy than usual, i only use it for screenshot taking purposes, heres a example of it on one of my routes. http://uslw.net/content/screenshots/a36dbbcb3e7d7213f1d6b131df45b47d.jpg Keep in mind i w...

Re: trainzclassics.co.uk - 1st June update.
well for once i was impressed with TRS sound, the steam engine does sound alot better good work on that :) However for us diesel people, will the issues of the engine sound and horn fading in and out be resolved in this update? Also any improvements to the draw distances so we can view all the mount...

Re: Class 66 Modification Pack (Updated with further variations)
The EWS seems to be rather bright compared to real life, either that or exteremly sun faded, it should be a maroon not orange color. On the other hand the GBRF looks a bit too dark and saturated but i never saw many of these so i cant really tell. Any chance of you fixing the colors too?

awesome shots! Those 66's look great with the logo's i may just have to buy them!
The headlights look way better than any of the other locos, just need the beams now (crosses fingers for MK2)
In the last shot i remember seeing a Freightliner 66 parked in that exact same spot in Oxford once

Re: New Locomotive for US underway
id definetly say up the main body texture maps to 1024 by 1024, KRS can handle it fine, the track textures are 1024 themselves!
btw: Since you got it in game could we see a in game shot?

Re: (2ft gauge) Britomart and ffestiniog Coach 38
very nice, but will you be doing a 2ft 3in version so we can run these with your other narrow gauge items? i really dont think i can justify two different narrow guage railroads on my route but i may just have to

Re: Something in the works - Blueprint Studio
Sounds like a great idea, the blueprint editor is very cumbersome and takes a long time just to get something simple like a trackrule done.
I hope you will implement copy and paste functions as the lack of ability to copy and paste in the blueprint editor is one of its greatest hindrances.

Re: Progress Report on Dublin-Cork Route
That looks damn good man, the route and objects look great. its clear you are putting a lot of effort into getting it right and it will no doubt be a treat to drive once you have finished.
