Re: Controls
You can try to hold down right mouse button and move your mouse. This will let you look around.

Re: Points
Yes its simplest but its not allways working. let say you are in a crossing where you have 2 junction/points close to each other and your train have come to halt over the first one and you have next one just infront of you. It doesnt change the one infront of you but instead it changes the one that ...

Re: Rail Simulator Crashes
It could be 2 issues from my experince. I had same problem as you and i changed some settings in the controlpanel for my graphic card and also made sure i enabled EAX sound. So i guess it has to do either whit the graphic card or the soundcard or even both of them. Se this thread for some help what ...

Re: To whom do I return this bunk?
I thought the other chap's settings were to alieviate the "lumpy" performance problem, not the bailing out asking for code problem. I did try reinstalling, and to the default location at that. It's XP-pro BTW. I'm down to thinking it's a system service or something. Whatever is causing the problem,...

Re: Points
Yeah. Just use your scroll wheel on the mouse. And if you left click and hold a square will form so you can quikly zoom in on the path you want to look closer at. The smaller the square is the closer it will zoom in Right click and hold, and move your mouse to desired part of the route you want to l...

Re: Points
I agree. The drivers guide (F3)is useless in this matter unless you are running your train real slow. Best way in my opinion is to use the 2d map (key 9) Hold down shift and click on the blue circle. The blue line you will se is the choosen path for your train. If you are on a yard or siding you can...

Re: Help needed with some things
Hi.
I assume you mean how to save when running a scenario.
Just press F2
In the editor there is also a symbol for adding wagons to the route. Think it is next to the train symbol where u click to choose your train.

Re: To whom do I return this bunk?
I had same problem as you at the start. It was impossible to play the game. But i figured it out it had something to do whit my graphic card. I have same card as you also. I went into Nvidia control panel. And under adjust 3d settings i created a game profil for railsim. (click add and find your Rai...

Re: Extra train downloads
I dont know where you downloaded them from but you can try this link instead. http://www.railsimulator.com/downloads/rail-simulator-content#rollingstock Then after you have installed them you have to start a free mode scenario. Then go into edit mode and add the train to the world you wish to drive....

Re: Loading Passengers
I solved it by changing the difficult settings. I started out to run the game in simple mode and didnt have any passengers on the platforms. Then i changed it to intermediate and the passengers was back.
Maybe this will work for others as well.
