Re: KRS on a Mac? Plus S&DJR matters + graphic cards
Intel macs work fine, because its just a normal pc. lol. Providing you dont have a macbook or something cheap with a built in graphics card you should be ok. Im using 24 inch imac with 7300 gt and works fine.

Re: Moaners
Im grateful to have the game today instead of another delay. What you have to remember tho is that this game is number 1 on tescos pc game shelf meaning anybody will probably pick it up with there shopping and will expect more, upon playing they will see the bugs and just dismiss the game without co...

Re: Padd-Oxford Signals
The issue is not really overspeeding is it? Play Return Ticket (from slough to padd and back) then tell me if you get the emergency brakes applied on a green for no reason, then continue straight after. The convenient timing your commuter train and a hst thats the big issue that should really be fix...

Re: Buying a PhysX card
Look in your control panel. I think i saw a physics setting appear there after installing RS. Perhaps that might give you more info if you can switch to hardware, failing that email the devs to see if it will make use of hardware

Re: Padd-Ocford Singals
Yeh i noticed this. I was 1.5 miles away from paddigton and then all of a sudden my emerygency brakes were applied even though it was all clear ahead so i decided to start her up again and get going thinking it was some herberts on the train like on the fa cup clash scenario where someone pulled the...

Re: Widescreen Woes
The macbook has an onboard intel graphics chip i think. It was never intended for gaming. So chances are you will never get it working. I get acceptable game play on 1600 x 1200 with settings on medium and even then the game still skips a few frames.

Re: Widescreen Woes
But reverting doesnt make you smug. Tbh i have found that fsx and RS run at a standard level. Thinking about building a specific rig for them both to run at max. Perhaps if i steal from my brothers machine running two 8800gtx cards sli'd. Do you think he would notice? lol. Edit: In answer to the ori...

Re: Widescreen Woes
It works fine on my 24" imac in bootcamp (the original white one). Thats with a 7300gt 128 card. I get all the resolutions and they all work with no 'black bars' either side.
Now there is two smug mac users running RS
