Re: Frame rates
i've noticed that for me, the Frame rate display (shift+Z) doesn't Ever go lower than 14 even when its clearly much lower than that, and it doesn't go any higher than 15 unless i'm on a custom made route with just railway track and no scenery. It's the same for me. :-? I will upgrade my graphic car...

Re: Chilean Electric Locomotive E-24
Ok Derek, I will follow yours instructions.
Other point....The maxscript E-Light and your E-Light Template file for 3ds Max are really fantastic, shadows and ligths looks very good and they are very usefull to create specular maps.
Thanks for them.

However you can texture a 2d sleeper to look like your 3d one for the points. regards Derek Derek, a question... Once RSDL release some patch to fix this problem...How does we can replace the 2d junction section with 3d sleepers junction section? I want to start with my route as soon as possible. Bye

Springs are modeled, but its number of polygons is too big, (1.500). I have to use a texturized cylinder.

My first model for RS. This machine arrives to Chile in 1949 and today there are only 2 units, but those 2 units doesn't work. They are currently in disassembly process. Good detail Bremen, but I think it's a minor issue. You needed a full close up to see it.

Re: Derail Track
Ok,
But, it's a very drastic way to protect the main track
Does trains suffer any damage after derailment?
Anyway I now understand it!
Many thanks.
