Another new L&B book may be a useful resource to anyone modelling the line. "Flying the L&B" shows the complete route as a series of about 45 colour aerial photos taken in 2005 and 2006. I don't actually have a train sim yet, but I'm thinking of getting a copy of MSTS shortly, to use chiefly with narrow gauge lines (L&B, Ffester, WHR, etc).
