It is looking fab if I do say so myself.
Not sure 'Epic' is the right word, but it certainly has a majestic feel about it.

Re: TS2012 Woodhead route blog
Lots of 3D track in the new engine currently is a big hit on framerate. (maybe not so bad if you export it without it casting shadows, but not experimented that much) A 2 track line is fine (My WVR line is still 3D) However, in places on the woodhead line there is so much track the mind boggles how ...

Re: TS2012 Woodhead route blog
It has it's own track but it is not using the 3d sleepers like in the IOW.

RS derek's new route
Just like to inform you all of a new short route I put together. Some of the rivot counter types may spot errors in the traction, The junction rendering is not really as good as it could be, also a lack of prototypical signaling and the dispatcher gets confused in some places too. The least said abo...

Re: TS2012 Woodhead route blog
Hi, Yes we put track through the old and new tunnels, even thought there was only a short cross over period. (I have images to prove it was so, and a few conversations with a few who remember) It may not be right but more right than having steam trains going through the electric tunnel. Like I have ...

No fear boys, I was on nothing but milky brews all night. Placing lights around weardale, After looking at Woodhead I need to go back to my dales and retexture! Sorry you don't like the weeds/grass, I do which is why I made them, of course they should not encroach the track within reason. Towards th...

Easy with the nails, ballons about!
Jive I hear what you are saying, we'll get through as many areas as we can, track or otherwise.
When it is released, you (who buy it) will know we gave it our all within the constraints we worked to.

Re: TS2012 Woodhead route blog
I'm not sure it is a case of 'can not be bothered', it is a case of needing the core software to address it without a content builder going along the whole route. Fixing 1 junction is ok, fixing hundreds if not thousands around complicated track work is a different thing altogether. But like all thi...
