Yes,think i will just stick to 3d modelling for now ,got plenty of buildings to work on.

YES ..........got it to work ,all down to the names , ended up with night (Group ),window_night (object) in a sub folder. one more question ,i noticed when i added the night texture to the face it showed up on the other side and i had to turn it around ,is this normal !. Time to get on with some mod...

Right lets see if ive getting this mixed up or what. ive created a single face object infront of the window with night texture on it,this object should vanish during day hours showing window main texture behind. but on mine the night texture (object) stays. sorry about all the dumb questions. joe w

These are set to same settings !
could it be because ive added the night texture th the same bmp image as day textures. also do you have to add the dash between the fx and night.
