Re: Route delays
If you want to be delayed by a train in front of you, you can use .pretrain commands. Pretrain commands are used in the with track portion of a .csv route file, and their only argument is the time; that is, there will be a train at that position on the track at the specified time, and the presence o...

Re: Sandymill for openBVE Released
Unfortunately not, Reece. Early on during my adaptation, I solved a problem of the BVE 2 route - namely, all the objects such as passing trains that seem to be flying 200 or 300 meters above the tracks when you use BVE 4 or openBVE - in a way that works in openBVE but not in BVE 4 (which I did not r...

Re: Sandymill for openBVE Released
Thanks.
There are a number of similarities between the routes - as I understand it, Steve Green basically took the original Sandymill-Invermay and kept working at it until it was Blighton-Treston Park.

No - you'd have to use image processing software to darken the textures.flyingv wrote:And how can i dim it, the setcolor command in object file?

Re: Announcing a new route in Development
It's a nice start. I like the approach to Oxland Central. However, the fully lit 350 inside the tunnel does not quite look right, and the stairs up from the platform seem to be leading people straight into the rockface.

The routes are fictional and set in Scotland, 1986-1993. The original Sandymill to Invermay route for BVE 2 was ...

Re: Oovee 144 in OpenBVE
A little suggestion for openBVE users who wish to see a bit more of the cab without adjusting the view manually: try editing the first paragraph of the train's panel2.cfg file in a text editor such that Resolution = 1250, Center = 670, 475, and Origin = 700, 400.

Re: Class 58?
I'm afraid the answer to that is that it depends. Sometimes they work perfectly, sometimes they basically work but don't look, sound, or function quite right, and sometimes they don't work at all. I'm not sure if the openBVE 58 would work in BVE 4 - I don't even have BVE 4 installed anymore. You cou...

Re: Oovee Class 158/7 now released!
Beautiful work - well done! Just a few notes for openBVE users: - The raindrops have a blue square around them. The easiest way to fix this problem may be to replace the dropxxx.bmp files in the BVE4 subfolder with the identically named files from an openBVE train such as the TSC 158 openBVE. - To s...

Re: Oovee 144 in OpenBVE
There is no need to worry about the night panel. Also, it is not necessary to allow to enable 24 bit colors - it is easier to just edit the palette. I'll describe how it works in the freeware program IrfanView; other image/photo editing software should provide a similar feature. Open \train\cl144\d3...
