Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
By the NSR version do you mean before the stock was absorbed into the LMS? In which case all that differs is the fact that they had Ramsbottom safety valves encased in a brass safety cover? If i'm wrong send pictures and if you know specifications for water/coal capacity that would be helpful, I alr...

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
Its great to see people are still keeping busy making new stuff - the Swiss loco is coming on a treat Ryosuke but I agree Max can do some strange things that can set you back hours but persevere, the roof and cab detail is amazing! Kevin with regards to the Collet could you please include in the num...

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
That's just what is needed Kevin, many of this class of loco were known to have worked the S&D (after nationalisation of-course) although at a guess their apperance along the line was not all that much welcomed by the older S&DJR workers, I feel some more freight activities in the making, keep up th...

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
I've also had success at getting the Port Class model into the sim but only functioning as a wagon. http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/2497/ingamemv0.jpg Yes the lubricators and buffer block is missing and the chimney is all wrong and it's untextured but it works, and Britomart can push her along, b...

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
There seems to have been a lot of activity on this thread since I last looked, the class 42 looks to be coming on a treat Mike - the nose geometry looks fine but im not surprised it took litterally hours to get just that section done, I see there are even more reskins - the more the merrier and Matt...

Re: Turntable at Evercreech Jnc.
Perhaps For RS Upgrade MK3 this issue could be addressed. The team at RS could modify the route adding the two turntables in their appropriate positions & possibly add an scenario instruction tab for turntables like a "go to" destination marker. E.g. "stop on turntable and turn to exit road(x) forwa...

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
Hehe This is getting confusing, I'm on about the SR Q1 Austerity 0-6-0 designed by Oliver Bullied. They are very odd looking and you either love em' or hate em' but I don't think a MSTS model has been done of this particular loco even though I will be modeling for RS if I can get some sort of plans ...

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
I'm willing to try again with a Q1 I love them myself - you can't say they lack character it's a shame there are none left running but I suppose they did a lot of war work & far outlived their intended duties, I also lost what few drawings of this loco I had when my PC went can anybody supply me wit...

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
Ahhhhhhhhh yes there is a slight problem with that, to cut a long story very short I broke my PC & formatted the hard-drive losing all my previous models including my beloved Hunslets :( moral of the story - make regular flash backups :D Also the Class42XX went but it gets worse so to did an SR Q1 l...

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
I totally agree the 9F, 4F & 2P would certainly provide more scope for S&D scenarios, just by looking at the screenshots its plain to see how much time & polys has gone into making those models & all I can say is I wish I was that tallented with 3DSMax but I guess its all experience. I myself have a...

Re: A little help for pathing trouble...
Aha so you have to create a shortcut icon function, that explains everything and best of all it works, what a lot of failed paths I have

Re: A little help for pathing trouble...
No I didn't put "speech marks" because filenames don't allow it, I don't think I understand fully what I have to do can somebody explain it to me in pictures at the moment this is the contents of my Rail Simulator folder: http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/2382/foldercontentscv9.jpg Sorry for my ign...

Re: A little help for pathing trouble...
Call me simple minded but when you add the text such as: -ShowDriverList to C:\\Program Files\Rail Simulator\RailSimEditor.exe to get C:\\Program Files\Rail Simulator\RailSimEditor.exe -ShowDriverList the shortcut no longer works which is logical since the extension is in the middle of the text so n...

Re: S & D Coaches
Hey Richard, I was just thinking of doing some Midland 6 wheelers myself to go with the Johnson, and some crimson ones wouldn't go a miss either glad your repainting them. :D The loco looks super in-game i'm looking forward to making a possible fictional railtour using these. Thumbs Up! Cheers Chris...
