Re: The Heart Of Wessex Mainline Project
Gradient profiles for the route are included in the BR Main Line Gradient Profiles book - I picked up my copy from Ebay for £5 :) Network Rail has the track & speed limits diagrams - http://www.networkrail.co.uk/aspx/5523.aspx - you want the Track and Route Mileage folder. To get an idea of the sign...

I understand how you feel. I've been using hardware samplers for making music for nearly 20 years, and I still find looping a bit of a black art

Sanyix, also try adjusting the train performance percentage. I have found tweaks of a few percent can make all the difference. I also see you have a player train ending at a marker, but you don't have an instruction for that marker. Placing a stop at instructon there could also help.

You need to use expert controls to be able to cancel the AWS, so you should find that does solve your problem.

There's also the White/Blue livery applied to refurbished units in the mid '70's/early '80's, before the application of the standard coach Blue/Grey.

Re: 101 DMU
According to Derek's Blog, the price is listed as being £14.99. Considering that we are now getting more liveries than anticipated, I still think that's a fair price to pay.

Re: Help please with DEM
The DEM File is identified by the coordinate of the 'bottom left' corner of the box, so Carlisle should sit in N54 W003; Hawick in N55 W003 & Edinburgh in N55 W004.
Hope this helps.

I believe this only applies if you don't set a service as the 'player' train.choccy wrote:With a timetabled scenario you can switch to any drivable loco (must have driver icon) within range by default.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the lovely Port Road, available from the UKTS Library.

Re: What Do You Know !?
Hi Jim, I had noticed that the driver's aid now correctly reports the secondary speed limit. It was very obvious today when I was testing a freight scenario on the default Newcastle - York route, when the limit northbound through Thirsk was shown as 50mph in the F3 window, when the physical sign sai...

Re: 101 DMU
Just to contradict this point, the "Slammers"* on Network South East / SouthWestTrains used to display a route number on the front of the trains, so whilst you could arguably say that it's not a headcode as such, numbers were still displayed on the front of trains post HST era.  *Slamme...

If it was left to me it would be a wagon that you'd have to push with a Class 37!
