Re: DTG Weardale and Teesdale Rail Network
Yes, that is true, but I can imagine that there will be some out there who would complain that it wasn't reduced.

Re: DTG Weardale and Teesdale Rail Network
Steam Sale finishes next Monday, so I wouldn't imagine it would get released before then.

Re: Steam Summer Sale Starting Soon.
I would agree with Matthew, The Edinburgh - Glasgow route has a 21st Century feel to it. It's got the modern revamp of Eastfield for starter's, which is a pale shadow of the former Diesel depot, plus things like Edinburgh Park, Platform 0 at Haymarket and the additional platforms at Waverley that ca...

Re: DTG Weardale and Teesdale Rail Network
Somehow, I think you wouldn't see K4's on this network. It is my understanding that they spent their entire working lives in Scotland, with only the last few years spent away from The West Highland Line.

Re: Ai Spawn Points - are these just for quick drive
Not tried spawning from Portals in a long time. Back in the original Rail Simulator, it was a bit hit and miss if it worked, or not. Not a great issue in starting from somewhere along the line, as it gives them time to accelerate to line speed, if you place them right. I've always found that some sp...

Re: Problems with the map screen
I've read that the issue crops up when you're using any SSAA settings but is OK with MSAA/FXAA, but had rolled back to an earlier version before that so haven't checked. I'm using SSAA settings and was getting the issue, before I rolled back to 347.88. Won't be dropping back the settings, as the re...

Re: RETB routes/locos for TS15
The only route that I know of that has full working RETB is the Fort William to Mallaig line and it comes with a brand new 37/4. That is the only loco that I know of that will interact with the RETB. No other loco or unit, even if it has a representation of RETB equipment in the cab, will interact w...

Re: DTG Weardale and Teesdale Rail Network
Just wanted to quickly confirm the rather unsubtle hints I've been dropping for the past 6 months :D The steam loco that we've been sat on is indeed for the upcoming Weardale & Teesdale Railway as most of you guessed. It will hopefully be released soon after the route. I will try and get a blog pos...

Re: DTG Weardale and Teesdale Rail Network
It'll be nice to see this out at last. It has been a long time coming. Steam/Diesel transition is not normally my thing, but I think I shall enjoy exploring the wilds of County Durham

Are you quite sure you have all the assets? That route requires the track from the Isle Of Wight add-on.

Re: DTG Class 442 Wessex
No need to guess when it comes to accident reports. Read it for yourself - http://www.railwaysarchive.co.uk/docume ... ch1988.pdf
Driver vigilance device is not even remotely touched on in the recommendations for the Colwich accident, it was a misunderstanding of flashing yellow aspects.

Interesting screenshots indeed. There is no mistaking the style of West Highland station buildings, so is the West Highland proper on it's way?

Re: Victory Works
Nah, probably would have been culled under the National Traction Plan in the 70's. If the Hydraulics didn't fit, then surely a small non-standard class would have had no hope.deltic1981 wrote:Would they have been in service long enough to get red stripe livery lol?

Re: Library Problems
From memory, the Regional Class 101 was given to anyone who had previously purchased any of the other Class 101 packs. Buying the BR Class 101 pack will install that, but Steam is just reminding you that you already have the Regional pack and will not install it again

A similar type of issue came up recently in the Route Building Forum. Check this post to see if it helps: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9#p1747856
