Yup understand the route/marker file naming convention, thank you.It was as stated above a simple case of not using the export function from within TSTF.

Got marker flags disappearing over the horizon now.

cheers,

I have plotted and saved a marker file in TSTF 4.54,which has a file extension of .msm
Sadly these markers do not show up in RE.
I have tried using the file with a .mkr extension, but still no luck.
Any ideas as to why the marker flags do not appear in RE,please.

cheers,
IKB.

Thanks Tim,doing it now.I know what you mean ,but 4x4 =16 and 5x3 =15 . Sorry mate, better not,its 30 maps ,zipped up 15,929kb. Thanks again. This is crazy,i used grindinquest to convert co-ordinates to 3 long/lat positions, now no matter what order i try to reg them into TSTF ,it tells me ,thi...

First stumbling block ,tried to auto reg map.It comes up with a message, that the map is less than the 5x3 size required. Its 4x4 so its actually bigger.

Its no good throwing all this jargon around if the proggie isnt usable by a complete novice and map basket case, like myself. The first point i dont understand is how to create a route using TSTF when i have 30 seperate maps 4km x 4km which slightly overlap, just for the mainline.Shoot me down in flame...

I would like to see a good SR route in msts.Well anything but lner. Its easy to do a double track junction, even without xtracks, may not be prototypical but it works. IKB. _________________ http://www.sirpenfro.freeserve.co.uk/Train_Simulators/td45as.jpeg <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited...

BR green would be good, then some of these "luddites" from the other regions could run them then.

Well my first question would be,isnt it possible to use the same maps 4km x 4km,that i started to use in TST ,in TSTF.I have the maps saved as jpg in that size for my whole route and dont really want to have to re-do that part of things. And excuse my stupidity,i forgot there was a user doc i...
