Re: Distant mountains again
Perhaps though there's some way to 'hack' (I hate that word in this context, but eh, it works) RW or RS into doing the same thing, such as the utility for Trainz called Trainz Tuner, which adjusts a config file enabling you to extend the view distance much further than the normal options allow. Goo...

Distant mountains again
Sorry to bother but it seems to me that this topic has been forgotten since long time nobody talks about it anymore. Just for fun I spent some time to compare the real life to what the simulator offers right now. A early '900 postcard showing the area where my route is located. The numbers are the d...

My first attempt in texture baking (3ds max)
I should have done surely something wrong in some setting because the "render to texture" command applied to my loco shape generates such pic.
Elements are too small and sparse to be usable.
Does anyone can help ?
Thanks !

Re: Command line export from Blueprint Editor
I just tried in a dos shell the command and it works perfectly. But, is there a way to operate on a single BP file instead of the whole folder content ?
Thanks again
Thanks again

Re: A little bit of help...
Ok I filled this field in BP but still nothing shows up except those grey arrows for the copling setup.
Should have done someting else wrong.
The main shape in max is called 1_0064_locomotive and the export of the IGS and the BP work succesfully

Re: A little bit of help...
I'm facing exactly the same problem
For the engine script I copied and modified the Example_Steam_Engine.xml provided by RSDL in the Develooper\Addon sources.
In this BP the field localised engine name is left empty.
I doing some experiments right now and I let you know the results

Re: Adding new track rule to an existing route
Tanks for the answer but I really needed a new track rule because i need curve radius of 50 meters and beside new tracks I have my own switch levers and my tracks gauge is 850mm. Anyway my question was quite wrong in the sense that track rule is not related to a particular route but simply you choos...

Adding new track rule to an existing route
Hello maybe its a simple one question but I can't remember how to include a new track rule to an existing route. The track rule blueprint is in my developper/project folder and it exports succesfully but I cant see it in the dropdown list of the editor where you choose the trackrule. What I'm missin...

Re: Anyone using TrainGlass.fx shader ?
Little update
I realized that probably I didn't update the max plugins, still using that ones from RS times.
I checked and a couple of files are changed. Now the material windows is changed asking only 2 textures.
Tonight at home I will run another test to see if it works.
