By complex you mean impossible? Look at those curved crossovers!KlausM wrote:By the way, Newcastle is an extreme example of complex trackwork, including curved frogs everywhere, in the past. See here, for example.

Right on Kev that's tha way I read it, fruit and salad trains from west to east. Sherman hill was a pain in the backside to the UP, loadings were around 60 to 70 loaded 70 ton box cars. Shame the Sherman Hill route was never built for MSTS. Regards, Rick http://www.3dtrains.com/forums/index.php?sho...

The route has been fully DEM'ed and the screenshot around Scarborough shows the realism of the terrain shaping over this section (for those who know how this looks in real life). It was this realistic terrain shaping that started me on this route - I had plans to do it a year or two ago, but the en...

Looking for a similar bush
I'm looking to obtain a bush which is very similar to the one in the centre behind the pine weed, and the left of this rather faded photo. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y255/SAR704/Bush_Q.jpg Does anyone know if there is a download anywhere on the web which contains a suitable texture to represen...

I'm no professional but this is what I do which often improves things visually. - Adjust the clarity (in PSP) - Use 1024 x 1024 textures - Export them with ace it - Use care when photographing a patch of terrain, and be on the lookout for opportunities for great snaps. Cloudless days are not always ...

Look at it this way: would they simulate the startup of steam engines, involving the user collecting some wood and paper and a box of matches, lighting the match, igniting the paper, the paper igniting the wood, and wood igniting the coal, and then waiting a long time for the water to boil before b...
