Re: Northern mainline, South Australia
We called them tree tunnels on theWest Highland line. The close branches kept the coaches clean. You could add a semi transparent dark flat texture under them to give a shadow Shadows are a separate minefield I can't add them without them looking peculiar on a hill or in a cutting. Although I could...

Re: Northern mainline, South Australia
More news on general overall progress later, but I was messing about today and decided to do an experiment. I had a gripe with the lack of overhanging trees in the route, but couldn't move the trunks any closer without smashing the windscreen, so spent some time in PSP X pruning some trees to get a ...

Gee you Brits have your tracks close together. If somebody ran two South Australia bluebirds on that they'd collide head on

This one genuinely looks good. Judging by the screenshots the right of way has a lifelike feel to it, and that is something some routes fail to produce

Re: Taradale Viaduct
Read the readme file. There was a warning in the readme that this one could be a little bit complicated but then again there are lots of routes on UK trainsim that are zipped in exactly the same method. There is a thread on working with spanned zip files here on UKtrainsim if my memory serves me ri...

Re: Northern Illawarra V2.0 - Sydney to Wollongong
Why have the moderators not closed down the THIRD identical topic that was started only after the first TWO were LOCKED??
And why would one quote the route's full directory name in the thread title? Does he think it looks good or something? It is just weird....

Re:
I have hardly touched this for a while, If anyone else wants toi try their hand at the rail bus go ahead, I dont' see me getting it done any time soon. The route progress is dependent on me travelling up there, which looks further and further away. You're in the same predicament I was in two years ...

Re: Taradale Viaduct
Hi All Still enjoying the wonderful route. However, I'm stuck with the 'default' paths. Whenever I go into the activity editor, I can access the consist builder (This is when your route is opened in the activity editor), but I can't navigate around the map. As soon as I click on the map, the activi...

Re: Northern Illawarra V2.0 - Sydney to Wollongong
What is the total extent of the trackage in kilometers? According to MSTSMiles, Total Track laid: 497 km or 309 miles Track Pieces: 7422 Total Road laid: 222 km or 137 miles Road Pieces: 1406 Ta Yuri. That's not the mileage from start to finish though, but accumulative from all track laid. If I ask...
