Re: Windows 7 problems
The only problem I seem to have is when I start Train Store I can't scroll down to the button that launches MSTS...i.e. the bar on the right isn't there despite uninstalling and reinstalling

Re: I have RW and this is what I think......of it....
I really don't know what to say? How can almost everything still be the same? The only two things I like now is that the HST and 166 give a 'ping' when going over an AWS ramp approaching a green signal and that the 166 is abit nippier when moving from a standstill and I suppose the light bloom aroun...

Re: RW Discount?
These are all first class ideas. I'm thinking Fox's Viennese, never fails. This same road backs onto the Portsmouth Direct and New Guildford Lines, so I wonder why they didn't have the inspiration build this route instead of doing Oxford-Paddington again....? Might email the developers and see if th...

Re: RW Discount?
Just saw the link myself and what I think is the discount code. On a different note, I saw this on the Steam page 'Rail Simulator 2: RailWorks. RailSimulator.com Limited, Compton House, Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4TX' That address is literally about 3 or 4 houses away from me! Not 100% relevan...

BR 'Dormy' clipper
Hi everyone, I've just been donated a set of vintage BR/NSE ticket clippers from a retiring colleague for use on my conductors duties and it's the type of clippers that stamps a date across the ticket instead of punching a hole out of it. My question is, can you get the ink for a stamp like this ref...

The driving motors in most 375s and 377s have a full table layout....admittedly the overhead luggage racks cannot take a conventioal sized suitcase

Re: East or West Coast Mainline...which to use?
Yep that idea just hit me...well East Coast it is then! Is a service that departs at 9am Monday morning likely to be overwhelmingly busy (if you take into account that school holidays are underway) or is that only really in the off peak?

Re: East or West Coast Mainline...which to use?
Would you think, realistically, that 30minutes is enough to get down to the Underground and back up to KX and get onto the train? I'm starting to lean towards the East Coast now but then again is a tilting train worth experiencing or just over rated?

Re: East or West Coast Mainline...which to use?
Well my hotel check in time is at 2pm so I'm looking to leave London at around 9. As far LU is concerned...what about Northern Line to Warren Street and change for the Victoria Line to KX? That's the advice I normally give my passengers when they ask for KX. Does anyone know if the inspectors on NXE...

Re: East or West Coast Mainline...which to use?
Ah, but one quick question...is a seat reservation mandatory on NXEC services? I only have the walk up Anytime Return ticket. I have friends who have been charged £70+ for not having a separate coupon with a seat reservation...although I'm not sure if they had a walk up ticket or an advance booking
