Re: Armstrong Powerhouse Sale
Thanks
That fixed it. However, I'm not too pleased with the sounds and am trying to revert to the default but can't find a way to uninstall them. Again, I'm sure it's something simple that I've more than likely overlooked.

Re: Armstrong Powerhouse Sale
I just purchased AP's Electrostar sound pack, installed it to the right directory etc and have found that the model itself has taken a turn for the worst. The passengers now sit above the train, the motor sounds are not audible when accelerating/decelerating and some cab features (cab lights to be s...

Re: Woking - Portsmouth route - Out 22nd April
My only criticism of the route in indeed platform lengths. Someones probably said this already but the ones that most certainly too short for a 12 car 450 in the simulator are Portsmouth Harbour, Portsmouth and Southsea, Havant, Petersfield , Godalming, Farncombe upside and Worplesdon. The biggest e...

Re: Woking - Portsmouth route - Out 22nd April
I know we sent a few 455s down from Guildford to Haslemere and back during the "blizzard" of '08/'09...at least that was one day that the commuters weren't complaining about the provision of Class 450s and not Class 444s.

How do you use the destination blind? Can't seem to figure out the 153 either...!

Re: Pendolino
The only ones I can recall are "Mission Accomplished" and "Penny the Pendolino" (the latter is with Horgy's VT repaint I think).
Might be more than that.

Re: Class 156 by Oovee - Out April 8th
Not good news! Just bought EG, spent £2200 on an Alienware laptop about 5 hours ago, buying Woking-Portsmouth on release day and now this! At this rate I'll be out broke and on the streets.

Re: Woking - Portsmouth route - Out 22nd April
Great news. However with the release being so soon I'm surprised there isn't a photo gallery somewhere (or if there is then I've missed it).

Re: New Glasgow to Edinburgh Route Video from Thomson Interactiv
It's out. Does not show up on Steam homepage though. I found it by going to my games library on Steam and clicking on Railworks 2. Then if you look on the left you will see a number of links such as achievements, forums, DLC etc. Select DLC and there you have it EG should be the 2nd one down and eve...

Re: WCML North
OK I may have forgotten one other rather crucial thing...default scenarios are OK it seems. It's the add-on ones like 'Hamilton Circular', 'Virgin Saviour' 'Class 390 Express to Glasgow v1.1' etc that crash. Note that the trains themselves never cause problems on any other route, so I don't think it...

Hiya, Desktop is a Core i7 4.00Ghz, Win 7 32 bit, 3GB triple channel DDR 3 RAM (was told 3GB in this configuration was better than 4GB), Radeon HD5970 and 2x1TB SATA II drives @ 7200RPM. Laptop is Core2Duo 2.8GHz, Win 7 32 bit, 4GB DDR2 RAM, Nvidia 9800M GTX SLI, 640GB hard drive 7200RPM. Last one i...

Re: WCML North
Hi, Firstly let me apologise if you've heard all of this before, I've searched the forums and the problems that have been reported are not related to mine (I think!) Whenever I load the route, I can drive for about 10 minutes before the program crashes and I get the error message along the lines of ...

Re: Deutsche Bahn take over Arriva
Yep, HS1 is indeed built to full continental loading gauge.
And to johncas: I've read that the ICE 3s are fitted with TVM430...might be wrong though but that has come from my German buddy who works for DB at Mannheim. Will double check though as I tend to drift in and out when he talks to me.

Re: A Class 390
Bought it on Steam and updated RW....what's next? It's not in any of the scenarios and I'm pretty sure I've missed out a step between updating RW and starting it. This is the 1st time I've used RW so go easy on me
