Re: Play.com - IN STOCK NOW
Can anyone spot the mistake, in the listing for the game on amazon!, and how many peaple not in the"know" might fall for it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Electronic-Arts-Rail-Simulator-DVD/dp/B000RO37VI/ref=sr_1_3/026-8852555-4315631?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1191966857&sr=1-3 I sent them a note to adjus...

Re: Gameplay.com orders
I ordered mine from Gameplay and now they say my Visa card was incorrect and they can not send. Nothing wrong with my card, so can only assume they do not wish to post outside of Europe. If this is a Kuju/EA problem, then I will just wait for the MS simulator Some online retailers wont send outside...

Re: Rail Simulator appears as direct download in EA store
Having just tried to pre-order RS on the EA website it seems you cannot do so if you have a credit card address outside Europe. Looks like Matt or UK mates are going to be the only options for those of us elsewhere. I wonder if you payed by PayPal if that would apply as well, seeing it works differ...

Re: Rail Simulator appears as direct download in EA store
Interesting! I'd not commited to a pre-order as I suspected the strike would delay things alot. I was going to pay the full price and get it from the shops on Friday afternoon. This direct download is only £29.99 anyway - so quite good really. It says it will be released at 1900 CDT Midnight - that...

Re: Rail Simulator appears as direct download in EA store
Any one have experience with this ? What are the cons of buying it from the EA store ?John Hi John, I have looked through regarding the EDS service, which will enable you to download that product for 2 years, after that i really dont know what will happen. Steam offer something along the same lines,w...

Re: Style of Sim
Dont forget that all of those are add ons to improve the environment and cost around 40 dollars or more. It seems to me that given the FS history that is the way it is going for MSTS 2 better or worse. You can spend a lot of money improving the default textures etc alone besides buying the aircraft,...

Re: Suggestions for post-release download content
Kuju/RSD promised 3D Canvas support and it's just not there. KRS is not that much more graphically advanced than TRS and even MSTS1 in a lot of respects (and I do know what I'm talking about) - Jon is right, look to MSTS2. I'm sure it's not as far away as people think. I don't remember them saying ...

Re: I'd imagine this would run..
Not to sure about the integrated graphics chip but the other bits seem ok. I wouldn't rush into anything until its out and we know more, but thats just me.

Re: Come on how about some answers?
Whilst Kuju's PR was not what a lot would expect ( eg the railtimes newsletters not on there website etc ) one could make the argument that how good a game turns out is in direct proportion to the amount of PR for the said game. A good example is Star Trek Legacy which had very good pre release publ...
