Tug what!??

Tugs? That's one I've not heard of. OMG, I'm still traumatised from "Bill & Ben." No wonder they talked utter ., musta been all that Weed they smoked on the QT, behind the aptly named 'Potting' Shed. And, let's not mention "Noddy & Big Ears".

"BazzaMotion"? You mean "ChunderMotion"?

Brilliant idea!

I agree with Geoff, it's an idea with great merit. I have a passion for book collecting anyway, and most of my recent purchases (new and used) have been used as resource material for my MSTS modelling projects. It's a win-win situation for the TS community and remember "R"esearch comes before "D"eve...

Cod walloper

Somewhat of a doodle in 3d; small UK fishing vessel, as seen in a children's colouring book. <IMG width="488" height="439" SRC="http://album.atomic-systems.com/showPic.php/16778/uk-fv2.jpg"> <IMG width="527" height="453" SRC="http://album.atomic-systems.com/showPic.php/16778/uk-fv1.jpg"> This is a '...

Maybe for MSTS2010...........

Going on my experience of modelling for TS, you're about 110,000 over budget. A lovely looking model, but it will require a serious rethink of your enormous polycount.

The golden rule is not what you want - but what the sim wants. :argue:

Pax Britannica

I haven't tested general freight loading in the sim Andrew, but have gotten the coal animation to work in a tender. I imagine each wagon has its own 'load' shape, thus it should be possible to have different loads for different wagons, in your case carriages. I like the idea, but I can see a 'fishho...

Blow the man down.......

Perhaps the AI fireman is aware that he can be fined for blowing off (steam) whilst the loco is standing at the platform. Apparently the railway company was concerned at the large number of claims made by passengers, for soiled laundry???!

Enduring

I remember many years ago, may have been the late sixties, early seventies, when a 'famous' singlehanded round the world yachtsman was heading for Cape Horn, I received* a message (weather telegram) from HMS 'Endurance' and one of our ex RN sparkers remarked she was (at the time) the oldest operatio...

If only............

What has logic got to do with wartime strategies? Churchill* sent the 'Repulse' and 'Prince of Wales' out to Singapore without benefit of air cover, both were gone within 20 minutes of the Japanese airforce attacking. The admiral in charge was not a proponent of air cover** either, silly ., I bet he...
