Re: RR error report on Looe Branch CD Activity
Hi Ian, well this morning I've done the First Diesel.srv alteration and also amended all the Highland_Mainline ones that were giving similar errors plus one that had a gap in the .cons file name as well. Also I remebered that I didn't reload the Scottish Central Activity Pack by Desiro because I got...

Re: RR error report on Looe Branch CD Activity
Hi Ian, as Alice said curious and more curious, because I wrote down exactly what the RR had reported, the only error I made was it was First Diesel.srv not First diesel.srv, not that it would have mattered. I took the opportunity to look in the Service Folder of the Route and saw the relevant file ...

RR error report on Looe Branch CD Activity
Hi Everyone, can some one explain if there is anything for me to worry about, if I try to run an Activity for the Looe Branch Route. The other day I was checking various things through RR, looking to see where another error report was originating and ended up with the following message. C:\Program F...

Re: Help with two Dorset Activities
Hi Gasman, I've not got the Dorset Route on my computer but one answer to the second problem is even the MSTS instructions say you shouldn't couple up at a speed of more than 1mph, if you are to fast you get a coupling bounce in the train or coaches you are trying to link up with. Use key "6" while ...

Re: Advice wanted on Missing Thames Mersey 3.2 stock
Hi Robert, yes all my life I've been a battler and never taken no for an answer to a problem, I try my best before asking for help but as you have said to me in the past, if your totally stuck post on the Forum. It is small wonder why I love everybody here on the site and pleased to meet some of the...

Re: Advice wanted on Missing Thames Mersey 3.2 stock
Hi Everyone, after another fruitless search, I have changed the last wanted file to the #.eng file in the BA_BR_Black5_45110 folder and just used the tender .wag file to satisfy the needs of the Activity. So once again thanks for all your replies to my problems, no doubt it will not be last time I d...

Re: Advice wanted on Missing Thames Mersey 3.2 stock
Hi Ian, thanks for those suggestions, I will look into them as replacements for the Ivatt as for the FILE ID 881 I've just realised that I already have that installed and will have to revert back to my original idea of using the BA_BR_Black5_45110. I've been busy in the meanwhile changing the 44781 ...

Re: Advice wanted on Missing Thames Mersey 3.2 stock
Hi Alan, you are right, looking again the File ID 3150 is a Crab Mogul, so that makes my decision easier to make doesn't it, the answer to your second point, is no I haven't used Consist changer in AE but if I change the engine in AA won't that alter any consists as well to take that into account. Re: Advice wanted on Missing Thames Mersey 3.2 stock
Hi Jon, on further looking at my installed stock, it turns out I already have the LMS_2F_062T_7660 as a folder in its own right and the same applies to the BR_Black5_ 44781 and it is filed as just the engine number 44781 so both can be changed easily to get what I want. I could use either File ID 88...

Re: Advice wanted on Missing Thames Mersey 3.2 stock
Hi Alan and Laurie, I've had a look at what I've got installed in my computer and I have a least two of the Black5's that could replace the 3rd and 4th loco's I want, the 3rd one can use the BATS one and has a number of 45110 and the 4th has the same engine number as the one I want but different fol...

Re: Advice wanted on Missing Thames Mersey 3.2 stock
Hi Alan and Laurie, I have just downloaded all the LMSR files just in case and I see there was a Rolling Stock.pdf file at the end of File listings, and as you say after just printing that out, none of what I wanted were in there. I will leave it at that for the time being and see what turns up late...

Advice wanted on Missing Thames Mersey 3.2 stock
Hi, can anyone help me in settling my mind in the bother of downloading and installing the LMSR Rolling Stock files (over 20 of them) starting with File ID 16936 to complete the missing files I want to do an Activity on the Lyme Regis Branch. I have installed the Activity "Lyme Regis to Axminster Ho...

Re: East Lancs Railway add-on
Hi Loanranger, I bought this Addon from the brdw.co.uk site early in New Year and it is well worth adding to adding to your route collection, the only problem I met was that two files were not copied from the default routes on installation and once I had found them and added them to the relevant rou...

Re: Copying downloaded routes to a new computer
Hi John, I like you I'm not intending to build a route but a while ago I got a load of error messages when trying to get into AE and I was recommended on the forum to install RR and after a little while I got the hang of it (Still Learning). More importantly it checked all my Consists that are Insta...
