Re: Digital Traction 4MTT
Yes, it is. I was wondering when someone else would notice. DT actually have a pic showing the fault (Pic No. 6 of 11) The radius rod only goes missing when the loco becomes the player loco in game, it's ok in the editor and the loco is ok in free roam until you choose it as the player loco. Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 3)
Thanks Kromaatikse, I've read all the posts on the 71 pages (so far!) of this thread and I must say yours are the most interesting. You are obviously very knowledgeable and if anyone can help get to the bottom of these problems you can! Thanks again (and thanks to all you guys who are testing and in...

Hi everybody!
Can someone tell me what "verify the cache" means?
How do I do it?
Thanks
Mike

Re: A Thank You to Ian Macmillan
I would also like to thank Ian for his excellent work.
It is much appreciated as is all the work contributed by the many talented modellers etc.
Without people like Ian and many others our MSTS experience would not be so fresh and exciting every day!
Regards & Thanks again

Sussex Wedding Activity
Thanks to Ben Harrison for his activity "Sussex Wedding"
Enjoyed running it, not least because I actually had everything needed, and didn't have to search for and download anything!
Thanks Ben - looking forward to your next offering (how about "Dorset Honeymoon"?)
Regards
Mike

Re: HELP! No extended shape for....
Hi Ged & Ash Thanks for the info. It would have been helpful if the readme had given this info. The Class 50 D444 Preservation Era is available as a seperate download on UKTrainSim (is it the same model with a different filename?) and that is all that is mentioned. No mention in the read me of the c...

Re: HELP! No extended shape for....
Hi Ged Thanks for your reply. I hope your observations are helpful to 'peterperves' who is the one with the problems. I have read your posts re. editing files. I often need to edit .eng and .wag files and sometimes .con files but never .sd files (a bit beyond me!). Although I do use ConTEXT occasion...

Re: HELP! No extended shape for....
Hi Jon & Doug I've been trying to re-create those error messages using my theory (didn't have time last night!) and you're right - it doesn't work! My train of thought (pun not intended!) was that only this vans .wag file would call for these shape and extended shape files and in normal circumstance...

Re: HELP! No extended shape for....
Hi Everyone, I'm not an expert to say the least but here's my 5pennorth! The original post asking for help states that he is getting the error message "No extended shape data for BR_12T_Fitted Van s65152s, then "failed to open shape file routes/europe1/shapes/BR_12T_Fitted Van s65152s" (NOTE THE PAT...

Re: 5BEL_BrownCream_3051/2/3
Thanks Doug, comments taken on board. Regarding the 5BEL consists I just re-wrote them putting the cars in the order (more or less) that was outlined in the readme file. With the 2 unit 10 car consist (which had 11 cars) I took out 2 of the 3 "repeated" cars and inserted the missing one and re-arran...

Re: 5BEL_BrownCream_3051/2/3
Hi Jon I must have been in a grumpy mood last night! I started reading through threads and posts because I felt I should make an effort to get more involved. I very, very rarely post on any forum and perhaps it should stay that way (Don't all shout at once!). Anyway the 5BEL models are really good a...

Re: 35030 'Elder Dempster Line' weathered
Hi Chris Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry that my original post was harsh and unthoughtful. I was wrong to make those comments in that way. I am very upset that Danny got involved, angry and upset as I thought it was clear that I was refering to your repaint (which was after all the topic of this th...

Re: can any body help with this please?
The .sms file must be in the right place or MSTS would have thrown up an error. Open the .sms file (with WordPad) and check the paths specified for the .wav files are correct (ie the wavs are where they are supposed to be). MSTS doesn't seem to care if it can't find wav files. If the required wavs a...
