Problem with Great Eastern activity

I'm having a problem with activity 5, Liverpool St to Clacton & Harwich. Approaching Gidea Park around mp 13 the screeen freezes, sound continues, and I then get an error message saying "no extended shape data for Dynatrax 40386.s can anyone help with this please?

.Surely if only new activities are affected it must be something incorporated in the particular activity that is the cause, if it were a system problem I would have thought it would affect all activities. I can't say that I've ever had a problem with static consists, even on my old relatively low sp...

I haven't done exactly what you have in mind but I have transferred a downloaded route from one PC to another (via a disc) by simply copying the route folder and it worked OK.

The time that an AI train takes to travel its route in the activity editor isn't neccesarily the same as in the actual simulation, there can be a significant difference ! The only way to be sure of the passing time is to drive the activity.

this might seem like a silly question but no one else seems to have asked have you set a passing point on the path?

I've just received (and installed) the latest Microsoft update and the first time I tried to open Train Simulator it took an age to load then crashed to desktop, however after a re-start it has loaded and opened OK.

If a recent update is the cause of the problem would a system restore back to a point before the update solve it?

I think that it is inevitable that many "new" activities will contain elements of existing activities, be it consists, traffic paths etc, the MSTS acitivy editor is designed to facilitate this. While I agree that it would be wrong to make only a minor modifacation and then pass off an activity as yo...

Low Poly static stock has to be the best solution, static AI consists seem to be a very complicated way of populating sidings, all those paths not to mention getting the timings right. I've recently been re-visiting the default North East corridor route and have populated the yards and sidings with ...
