Re: How do I re-texture Station Signs & Billboards?
Hi Geoff I bought 3DC when I started to build my own route base on the North Wales Coast. Not being an artist or particularly good with graphics my intention was, like yourself to make a few station signs for my route. I started with the simple stuff but recently I've become a bit more adventurous a...

Re: How do I re-texture Station Signs & Billboards?
Hi Derek Back to the signal box! Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I'm a relative beginner as far as the nitty-gritty of settings etc are concerned so I'm not sure exactly what you mean by shader settings other than to guess at the DX1 or DX3 settings on the Nvidia programme. I've tried a few of ...

Re: How do I re-texture Station Signs & Billboards?
Hi Derek Thanks for your reply. I think I've confused the issue by showing objects that I've created - I agree I have the source files for those items. What I'm trying to do at the moment is to repaint the default small signal box into BR London Midland colours. I've managed to do the repaint using ...

Re: How do I re-texture Station Signs & Billboards?
3D Canvas Pro has been a good investment for me as far as creating scenery items is concerned together with the practical and tangible help that people like Sly are able to give you. Here are a few signs I've managed to create. http://www.atomic-album.com/showPic.php/161222/signs.jpg One irritating ...

Hi Kevin
Prince is looking great! Glad you had a good day in Porthmadog and Caernarfon - the highlight of my day was getting a soaking walking from the car to Tesco!
Look forward to you releasing Prince soon maybe?

Re: (2ft gauge) Britomart and ffestiniog Coach 38
Kevin Enjoy your trip! Does look like rain tomorrow though but it always seems to rain in Blaenau Ffestiniog - it has this reputation like Manchester! You may be interested to know that BR Standard 76079 is due to visit Porthmadog tomorrow on the mainline at 11.50 and 14.55 - 'twould be a nice one t...

Re: IOW...OUT NOW!
My default drive for RS is Drive D and the IOW route loaded onto this without any problem other than a Vista issue which was nothing to do with the route.

Re: IOW...OUT NOW!
I can confirm that IOW scenery items are available for use on DIY routes - plenty of additional scope for route building. Remember to activate these using the Object Set Filter (RSDL IslandLine).

Re: IOW...OUT NOW!
The only problem I seemed to have was a Vista issue when I double clicked the install icon - it didn't seem to work. Once I opened the exe file as Administrator everything loaded fine. I've just tried the route with Invincible and must say that my initial impressions are that the package is superb. ...

Hi Kevin
Hope all is well with you!
Nice to see you are still producing some great stuff for RS. I look forward to the Stanier tank - will be a great addition to your two Ivatts.

Re: Track side flowers
Does anyone know if these have been uploaded yet? If so where can I find them - I've looked on UKTS and RS but to no avail.

Re: WIP Thread - anything goes (within reason)
Nice one again Sly! The possibilities for repainting your bus are endless and I'm looking forward to its release. I've repainted the default 1950's van but with only limited success as the wording on one side is only a mirror image unfortunately. Hope your model will cater for logos etc on both side...

I think the Premium Account is brilliant value for money and would recommend it to all those who think they would download regularly from this site.
