I believe the SWT thing was to standarise traction and expand the fleet. FGW have a lot of TPE units, they came down here not long after the franchise started. Just had it confirmed that there is a kitchen/buffet still being worked on. So it looks like there are 6xFOs and 1xRFM (or similar type)

I first heard about the BSO when talking to the guy who had the job of fetching them the week before the move. He was saying he had to get the mk2, shunt round at Oxley, couple onto the mk3s then head for Carlisle. That was a week before the move happened.

The exhaust on the /0s is the same as on 601 (Porterbrook) and can be compared with 602 (FGW) further down the page, which is a later build and has a larger exhaust

Looks really good Steve! If you ever do 47501 or the mk3s, I have noticed the have DRS etched into the door glass!
Hope these are nearly finished - I can't wait for to bash the 47!
